A poem has never taken me this long to write. And it's not because I was thinking hard or deeply about it, it's just that with calls every three seconds I could hardly get any words down before the beep every time. Nothing special, but I am happy as hell I'm getting into this again. Just writing down words and seeing lines appear can be such a relaxing process! :)
Inspiration
So hard to come by
So hard to find
It doesn’t exist
Or in any person’s voice
Does not pull you by the sleeve
And lead you to creation
It lingers in your mind
Protesting, abusing you to jot
Words down, to voice, to create,
A throbbing pulse, never letting you
Forget the idea that it’s still there
Waiting silently
Until you bring it about
Wring it from your mind
On your cello strings, your
Cursive writing, your painted hands
Signed by imagination, addressed to inspiration.
Wowwwwwwww.. UNBELIEVEABLE! See this is what a true poet is, not that junk that I produce! Such imagery, such passion!
ReplyDeleteA true poem brings out what we always felt but never could put into words. Thats the job of a poet, to say what hasnt been said before, so that is is visible and out there on the table!
This is great stuff keep it coming!
